Research Participation Invited!

You are invited to participate in the research "Health Promotion Practices of Vietnamese
Immigrant Women in the United States: A Qualitative Study."

Anh Le, a Ph.D. Nursing Student at Texas Woman's University is conducting this research.

This study focuses on Vietnamese immigrant women in the United States. We want to learn about your unique health promotion practices. Please let us know if you or someone you know meets this study's eligibility criteria! We extend our invitation to all eligible participants.

After you agree and sign an informed consent to participate in the study, a one-hour interview will take place to ask basic demographic questions about yourself and how you keep yourself healthy. The interview can be online or in person, according to your preference.

The participant will receive $25 for their appreciation.

The eligibility criteria are:
1. Female
2. 18 years or older
3. Born in Vietnam
4. US immigrant
5. Speak English or Vietnamese

Your participation is voluntary. There is a potential risk of loss of confidentiality in all email, downloading, electronic meetings, and Internet transactions.

Thank you to all VANA partners, members, and healthcare professionals who attended the educational meeting sponsored by GSK. We gained valuable insights from Dr. Koenigsfeld about vaccination against RSV and Herpes Zoster. Our GSK representative, Miss Lorri Steen, played a key role in making our learning session a memorable evening.

We also appreciate the efforts of all the volunteers and members who helped co-create and organize a wonderful event to celebrate the Lunar New Year!

A special thank you goes to the VANA Committee panel for their mental support and presence. Drs. Ho and Pham were instrumental in securing our sponsored meeting and arranging a delicious eight-course menu for everyone, which also included some plant-based options. This dynamic duo pleasantly led the introductions and had us laughing with their jokes!

We look forward to seeing you again next time!
