FamilyPoint Resources FamilyPoint Resources engages our community in supportive relationships that build hope, meet needs, and transform lives.

We accomplish our mission by working toward mutual growth through listening, playing, and learning. FamilyPoint Resources is a nonprofit agency in the West Houston community dedicated to investing in the lives of children and families in order to help bridge social and economic gaps and be part of breaking cycles of poverty in the area. Most of our efforts are focused in the community immediately

surrounding Nottingham Park, the “Nottingham Park Area.”

We believe that a child cannot have too many caring adults invested in their lives. As such we seek to fosters caring, adult relationships with children, many of whom suffer the void of fatherlessness, the anxiety of unstable housing, and the overriding sting of poverty. It is our hope that as we impact the lives of the children we work with, we will also be impacting their families and community. Born in 2005 out of a local church’s commitment to serve the common good of the city, FamilyPoint is now an independent non-profit organization that has built strong relationships with several West Houston schools, businesses and churches to serve needy children and families. Through these relationships, FamilyPoint brings caring adult volunteers together with at-risk children in sports, education, arts and camp programs help break the cycle of poverty and fatherlessness. Relationships with children and their families in the Nottingham Park Area have begun to open doors that we believe will lead to a holistic investment in the well being of the community by FamilyPoint and other individuals and groups as well. We also believe that through these relationships, bridges between the Nottingham Park community and the surrounding communities will be built, breaking down longstanding barriers and bringing new resources into the area.

Double the teams. Double the trophies. 🏆🏆

This weekend, both of our girls teams went a perfect 8-0 and brought home championship wins in the tournament! The growth we’re seeing as the season moves forward is something special.

What makes it even better—these girls and coaches are all new to each other, and you can really see the chemistry and trust starting to build. This is just the beginning. We’re growing, improving, and doing it together every step of the way.

🔥 BACK-2-BACK CHAMPIONS 🔥

We did it again! 🏆🏆
Out of 106 teams, we rose to the top at the Clash of Texas Club Championships in Austin, Texas—battling it out for two days at Tony Burger Stadium against some of the toughest track & field competition around.

This victory means more than medals. It represents sacrifice, commitment, and belief. Our athletes and families showed up, pushed through, and proved what happens when dedication meets opportunity. We couldn’t be prouder to bring another championship title back home to Houston! 🤘

This was bigger than one team—it was a united effort between FPR Speed, Texas Cyclones, Katy Express, and Northside Striders. Different uniforms, same mission. These young athletes aren’t rivals—they’re friends, teammates in spirit, all chasing greatness on their own paths. And when we come together like this, we’re unstoppable.

We’re building something special. A community that puts athletes first, leaves ego behind, and invests in the future. Because these kids? They are the legacy. 💯

Huge thank you to Brandon Cooper and his crew for continuing to elevate the standard and deliver an incredible event year after year. 🙌
