COMMUNITY UNITY
Every elected official has the obligation to the community who put them into office. This not not the case in every community.
Hello my name is Patrick N. Myles, Sr. and I have the awesome job of being a voice. A voice that calls to the carpet those who purposely neglect the concerns of the Hood.
Over the past 3 going on 4 years I have heard to complaints if many in the South Park, Sunnyside & South Acres...but none as selfless as the head coach of the New Star King and Texan and head coach of the South Side Senators. When it comes to commitment this coach is literally engaged in the lives of the young men who are fortunate enough to be under his leadership. “LIGHTS FOR IN THE PARK”...His simple request...lights in the park for the youth to practice....lights in the park for elderly walkers to see at night...lights that will cause drivers to avoid our children as they are forced to practice in the dark. The request has been made know to our “official” repeatedly only to be met with excuses, denial and disrespect. It is time for our neighborhood and community to commit to the future of our youth like Coach.
Community Unity is committed to making a stand no matter the opposition. Now is the time to unite for the single purpose of putting lights in the Cloverland Park at Scott and Hickok. We will be setting request date along with a petition signed to meet the request or resign as a proof of unity
