May is Mental Health Awareness Monthđź’›
This month, we’re shining a light on the importance of mental health, and the ways we’re committed to meeting our community where they are.
In our community, 56% of individuals self-report struggling with poor mental health, a powerful reminder that this is not a distant issue, but one affecting our neighbors, families, and youth every day.
At Bridging For Tomorrow, we see these needs firsthand. Through ongoing community engagement, the message is clear: access to support, connection, and safe spaces matters.
That’s why we respond intentionally:
- Free mental health counseling for the entire family, provided by two licensed professional counselors (LPCs) on staff.
- Adult mental health support groups that create connection and healing.
- Youth programs like Thrive Teens, where students build a sense of belonging and form consistent, positive relationships.
Research shows that when young people have access to safe, supportive environments, their mental health outcomes improve significantly boosting resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
We’ve seen it ourselves, when community is strong and spaces feel safe, mental health can truly thrive.
You are not alone. And together, we can build a healthier future.
