It’s impossible to post every photo or even summarize what GOD did Saturday night!! So, I’ll do the best I can.
Did you know this was 33 years in the making? GOD had this planned out before I even came into this world. It amazes me. Jeremiah 29:11 & If He has a plan for me, you better believe He has a plan for you!
My heart is FILLED with gratitude for every person who helped plan, volunteered/SERVED, purchased a ticket, told someone else about the gala, sponsored a table, sponsored the silent auction, sponsored their services, purchased a ticket for someone else in need, heard about this WORTHY cause & decided to give us a discount on their services, and so much more.
To Erica Simon…if you missed her, you missed a treat!! You had to be there. She was such a blessing to our girls and the rest of us!! 🥹 SO down to earth & our girls are STILL over the moon about the words of wisdom & encouragement she shared with them!! Hearing her testimony of how she overcame and refused to GIVE UP or turn away from GOD was so inspiring and relatable!! I am so excited about what God has in store because I know this is just the start of so much more together!! She’s the truth.
To Mrs. Ericca Tucker…the perfect emcee!! Another woman who has a passion for mental health and girls!! Y’all see a pattern? Women with a passion for serving our girls 🔑 it’s what we do!! You made sure the ensure night went smoothly and again allowed me to just BE in the moment.🥹
To my AMAZING Own Your Peach gala committee members and volunteers who made Saturday happen!! I could not have done it without this amazing group of ladies & our OYP girls!! Once it was go-time, they look took care of EVERYTHING so I could just be in & enjoy the moment. Y’all were with me EVERY step of the way, inspired and encouraged me to believe BIG, believed in my vision, and made sure I didn’t feel like I had to carry it out alone. Y’all are the TRUTH🙌🏾🥹💐
To Black Butterfly Decor (Demetra Davis). I don’t even know where to begin. When you see the room, know that’s HER!! All I did was give her the color scheme and she went above and beyond to make everything a dream!! The way she lead the transformation of that room? Whew. 😮
To MY FAMILY…y’all have watched and helped me evolve over the last 10 years. To have them by my side was EVERYTHING!!🥲 Never once was I made to feel like OYP was a bad idea…even when I doubted myself!! Wiped tears, encouraged me, and never let me throw in the towel, even when I wanted to. They have held me down!! 🥹💕
