Hi everyone. We are cancelling our July meeting scheduled for this Thursday due to conflicts with the July 4th holiday activities. A few updates to share with the community.

Thanks to all those who came out to Boheme on June 11th for our social! We had a wonderful time.

Reminder that you can now pay your dues using either PayPal or Zelle in addition to cash and checks. To pay with either, send your payment to [email protected]
Please include a note with your name as sometimes the sender name can be a bit cryptic.
If you aren’t sure if you are current on your dues, just email me and I’ll let you know. 

I still have two magnolia trees and a pine tree available for free if you would like them. They are two years old and in pots at the moment, ready for planting.

The annual event celebrating the city's LGBTQ+ community and its allies, originally scheduled for early June in downtown Houston, was called off a couple hours beforehand because of inclement weather.

There's a lot going on this coming weekend, so we've decided to cancel the June meeting.

BUT, we will be holding a social at Boheme next Thursday, June 11th, from 6-8pm.
We'll have light snacks available for free with drinks available to purchase.
Be on the lookout for an announcement, but add to your calendar now :)

Hi everyone

This past weekend Joe Panzarella was elected to fulfill the position of District C City Council member. He replaces Abbie Kamin and will be in office through the end of 2027.

Currently the next election is underway, which is party-specific runoffs for Primary Elections. Early voting is open this week only, through Friday at 7pm. Election Day is next Tuesday, May 26th, and voting centers will be open from 7am to 7pm. If you voted in the Democratic primary in March, you must vote in the Democratic party runoff. If you voted in the Republican primary, you must vote in the Republican runoff. If you did not vote in the primary, you are open to vote in whichever runoff you choose. Forty-eight locations are open for early voting. On election Day, Harris county will have 162 polling locations open.
