From the Chevron Championship to the Texas Children’s Houston Open, our city is getting some well-deserved national attention.

But the coolest part? What’s happening outside of tournament week. More access, more kids playing, and more investment in programs that are growing the game right here at home.

At FTGH & HGA, we see that momentum every day—and it’s why projects like our F.M. Law Park capital campaign matter so much. Creating spaces where kids feel welcome to learn and play is how we turn this moment into something lasting.

The Kendall Jackson Experience returned to host a clinic for our alumni—pouring right back into the program that helped shape them.

To make it even more special, she gave back in a lasting way—donating $1,000 through two commemorative bricks in support of our capital campaign.

You’ve got books and we have boxes! Drop your books off at F.M. Law Park or Gus Wortham—just look for these fabulous donation boxes.

This drive is led by FTGH participant Elly Z, who was selected to attend last year’s First Tee Innovators Forum. After a week of leadership workshops and inspiration, each teen created a community project—and this one is Elly’s! and strong vocabularies

✨Sneak Peek✨

2026 marked our 19th Champions Challenge event and first one that brought our awards ceremony under the pavilion!

Rain or shine, 230 fourth graders took to the course for a full day of First Tee School Program activities, competing for glory, building confidence, and having a whole lot of fun along the way. Thank you to everyone involved, from our schools who participated, the army of volunteers who stepped in to captain teams, officiate games, take our BTS pictures, pass out goody bags, pack school packets, and everything in between. Thank you for manning concessions and a huge thank you to our district leads for continuing to support our school program❤️❤️ We are for generations to come
