A little back-to-school prep made a lot more fun. Mentor Sam took Shaun and his brother to pick up school supplies and clothes ahead of the new year, thanks to our partners at Buckner International, who share our commitment to supporting kids and families. Between the painting, the dancing, and the shopping, the boys got what they needed and had a great time doing it.

A night under the Big Top! 🎪✨ Mentor Zeyanna organized an outing to UniverSoul Circus during its stop in Houston, bringing youth and mentors together for a night out. From start to finish it was all smiles, and the kids left buzzing to tell their families about the fun they had. 🤹🎪

After a conversation about learning new skills, he knew exactly what he wanted. To learn an instrument. His Friend Steffon knew exactly where to go. Soon they were at Guitar Center, testing out guitars, drums, and even a marimba. 🎶

By the end of the visit, he was asking about music lessons, and Steffon offered to teach him the drums himself. This is the heart of mentorship. Showing up, opening doors, and helping kids discover what they are capable of.
