PACE provides life-skills training, counseling, and extra-curricular activities to at-risk youth and their families to help build; proper self-image, academic success, character awareness and improvement, and employment readiness. PACE works with youth between 10-17 years of age and their families, to encourage positive attributes and help break the vicious cycle of incarceration. Lack of adequate
prevention awareness, intervention and treatment for at-risk youth, puts them at high-risk of delinquent behavior which leads to incarceration. PACE provides prevention, intervention and a one-week summer camp to inspire youth to be successful in life and productive citizens in society. PACE prevention and intervention services are designed to help improve the lives of at-risk youth, restore family bonding, prevent youth incarceration, encourage education and provide skills to become productive members of society. This is done through life-skills training, counseling, educational and familial support that encourages positive attitudes, stimulates critical thinking and enhances communication to help make appropriate choices. The organization also provides meals, field trips, family bonding experiences and other character-building activities. The prevention and intervention programs have the same platform but serve different at-risk populations.
