Start off the New Year right with a toast at Stella’s Wine Bar, inside the Post Oak Hotel.

Stella’s Wine Bar is a regular participant in WOW’s Sangria Throwdown event, and they won “Most Creative” sangria in 2025! Please come out to support them and WOW.

A few notes on logistics:

- Specials: Bartender selected wine (red or white) $6.10 from 4-6:10 pm

- Parking: Valet is discounted to $8, but you must bring in your ticket for validation stamp. Alternatively, self-parking is available in the hotel garage.

Suzan Pickels, Chief Consultant of Rapid Impact, has been a WOW member since 2014, after learning about the organization from Bear Dalton and meeting several board members, including the then CEO of the Houston Area Women’s Center, on a trip to France. Although she was not in the wine industry, Suzan was immediately drawn to WOW’s sense of community and mission to empower women through collaboration and shared purpose in supporting HAWC.

In her own words, “Ending domestic violence requires education, compassion, and collective action — and WOW embodies all three. Supporting WOW is my way of saying that every voice, every effort, no matter how small, matters.”

Thank you for the amazing year we had together in 2025! With your help, we accomplished some amazing things! We:

- Gave $150,000 to Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC)
- Met our 20 year goal of giving $1M to HAWC two years early
-Won the HAWC Vision Award
- Won the Association of Fundraising Professionals Outstanding Community Service Organization Award at the National Philanthropy Day awards
