Update: We still need supply donations. We will take donations up to set up on Thursday Nov 9th. The list of needs is on the sign up genius. Thank you to all that are donating or have acquired donations.
Thank you to all that have signed up to lend a helping hand and volunteering on Friday. You can still sign up, it is not too late! The more the merrier.
We are three days away from out largest fundraiser of the year, Fun Food Friday held at Mayde Creek High School on Friday November 10th.
This is a BIG DEAL! We need lots of supplies and lots of volunteers. The more supplies we can get donated from parents/guardians or from stores/restaurants the bigger our profits will be.
WE NEED AT MINIMUM OF 15 ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS. WE ARE FAR FROM HAVING THAT NUMBER.
With that, please consider taking an extended lunch break to help the unit out. Reach out to friends and family for volunteers and donations. We need help reaching out to all of the stores for donations.
EVERYTHING IS LISTED ON THE SIGNUP GENIUS.
WE HAVE SEVERAL SHIFTS AVAILABLE. THE SHIFT WE ARE MOST FOCUSED ON IS THE 10 AM TO 1 PM SHIFT.
To give you a bit of perspective we are selling about $3000 of items priced from $1 to $3 in about 3 hours.
