The days after a hurricane are some of the hardest. The feel of defeat is real. But, we know how to rally some of the biggest acts of kindness. Houston was spared once again so it is time to rise up and help our sister state. All monetary donations will be earmarked and directed to those in need. Your contribution is tax deductible. Homeowner shock is still a very real thing even after several weeks. This story is about how this local resident had 11 holes in their roof and multiple trees down. The devastion left them frozen. But, the RH Weekend Warriors showed up and pushed through ensuring all debris was removed, roof was tarped, and spirits were lifted.

We deploy again next week. Join us.

19 years ago it shook our nation. It brought some of the greatest pain ever witnessed. As the dust settled, what happened next are the moments of what I remember the most. The solidarity. The uniformity. The benignity. That is what our great country stands. You see it most during a time of tradegy, but it is really there all of the time. Sometimes, we just have to look a little harder.

As you take a moment of silence, please share your story of were you where when the towers hit.

Before we deploy the Houston Boots on the ground, the RH board of directors would they to extend a very gracious thank you to all of the support, good vibes, best wishes, and lifting us up to help those in need. We stocked the trailer and purchased nourishment for the soul today....all thanks to your generous donations. Together we ignited a movement once again. It's a marathon and we will continue to deploy teams so there are opportunities that have your name on it.
