Meet Harold! This 6-year-old, 53-pound Black Lab mix is the perfect blend of gentle companion and playful best friend. He loves daily walks, plays happily with his doggy friends, and is happiest simply being near his people.

Harold is dog-friendly, house trained, crate trained, and wonderfully well-mannered. He’s affectionate without being needy, playful without being overwhelming, and ready to make himself at home in your heart.

Meet Mermaid, loving social butterfly who loves people of all sizes. Don’t let this sweet face trick you into thinking she is a couch potato; Mermaid can be energetic, loves walks, and enjoys playtime in the yard. Hi, my name is Mermaid, and I am a 5 yr-old, 60 lbs, American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I was saved by my foster mom from a local kill shelter, but now I need to find my forever home! I get along with other dogs, but I prefer male dogs. I’ve never met a kid or adult that I didn’t like, I will take all the attention i can get. I am an energetic, healthy girl! I enjoy going on walks, playing in the backyard, I am crate trained, I know sit and stay commands, but my foster mom says I tend to forget if I get too excited. Such a fun day celebrating our 3 year anniversary at Bayou Heights Bier Garten. We are so thankful for Heart of the Beast sponsoring our event.
