This past weekend we were honored and so grateful to host the Inaugural Revival Sport Gala. It was a night that truly highlighted one of the core values closest to our hearts - WE WORK IN TEAMS. We are overwhelmed by the amazing team that came together to put on this stunning event. This night would not have been possible without our co-chairs of the gala, Joslyn Ammar and Taylor Handfelt , who had a vision and made it happen!

We are also so grateful for each and every person who chose to spend their Saturday evening with us. The room was filled with passionate and like-minded individuals who came together for the common cause that has lit a fire in all of our hearts - providing every child in Alief access to a safe place to play, grow and encounter Christ. Amazing things happen when we join forces for the issues that matter the most.

And we also want to extend a special thank you to the Alief ISD staff members and their families who attended and showed their support for our vision to provide every child in Alief access to League of Nations. Our work is so blessed and enriched by the collaboration with the school district. We are honored to serve the youth of Alief alongside the teachers, counselors and administrators who work tirelessly day in and day out to empower this next generation.

We are just a few weeks into our 2025-26 League of Nations season and we couldn’t be happier with how it started and how things are going. Last year we had the pleasure of serving in 7 Schools in the Alief School District. Fast forward one summer and we are now so excited to see the growth we were able to see to kick off the new season and now proudly serve in 14 Schools in Alief. Serving this community, the kids, their families and more has been such an amazing blessing. Within 2 weeks of the first season we had over 500 players register for our League. This is what we had for the whole year last year. Parents are signing up with us to volunteer during practices and games days which is allowing us to create deeper and more long-lasting relationships. God has been and continues to be visibly working in this League, in the lives of the kids and their families. Our attendance during practices continues to grow each week and are currently serving nearly 450 players and their families each week. Our first game day this past week we saw over 750 people show up, that included kids and families. We were able to spend time in prayer, meet so many new amazing families and start relationships that we hope will last a lifetime.

This season we are so excited about our new mentoring program with Alief ISD. Our goal is always to go deeper and offer a discipleship opportunity to the youth we serve through League of Nations. This season we wanted to begin a mentoring class inside the school for students in our soccer program, where we can go deeper in the lessons we are learning at soccer practices (Creation to Christ). One of our partner schools was open for them to be the pilot school. The first week, we had 8 kids at our mentoring class, and now a total of 14 students participate in the mentorship class. We are excited to see deep transformation among youth in Alief and for them to become the next generation of leaders!
