It’s DAY 10, WEEK 2 of fair pay demonstrations—our LAST DAY on the lawn.

Feeling stretched thin for finals week? So are we. But we’re all finishing out the semester strong despite everything. 💪

We’ll be back in the Fall! Keep asking WHAT’S THE PLAN FOR FAIR PAY???

📊 Let’s let the numbers talk

Our team compiled some pay data from our Tier 1 research university into funding distribution graphics. Here’s what we found when we compared the difference over the past ten years in the wages that UH leadership gave adjunct instructors in the English Department versus the wages they gave UH President Renu Khator. See the difference?

Adjunct lecturers have seen NO RAISE in the past 10 YEARS while President Khator’s () salary has increased by almost $500,000.

We all know THE UNIVERSITY WORKS BECAUSE WE DO. So join us in our demands to UH leadership: WHAT’S THE PLAN for fair pay in the English Department???
