Last Saturday, we had an amazing Health Fair at Iglesia Episcopal San Mateo for the Gulfton families.

More than 25 organizations joined us to provide valuable information and resources for our families. We enjoyed free raffles, a fun Zumba session, and many activities full of energy, learning, and joy.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to every family who joined us. Together, we continue building a healthier community in Houston!

El sábado pasado vivimos una increíble Feria de Salud en Iglesia Episcopal San Mateo para las familias de Gulfton.

Contamos con la participación de más de 25 organizaciones que ofrecieron valiosa información y recursos para nuestras familias. Disfrutamos de rifas gratis, sesión de zumba y muchas actividades llenas de energía, aprendizaje y diversión.

Gracias a todos los que hicieron posible este evento y a cada familia que nos acompañó. ¡Seguimos trabajando juntos por una comunidad más saludable en Houston!

We are delighted with the success of the recent “Mother’s Gathering”, held as part of the Southwest Houston Coalition for Health activities. We thank the Episcopal Health Foundation for the support.

We brought together dozens of mothers to discuss diabetes prevention and maternal health. And we also had fun doing Zumba!

Thanks to all CHWs, Health Providers and Community Leaders who volunteered and made it happen.

Estamos muy contentos por el éxito del reciente “Encuentro de Madres”, realizado como parte de la Coalición del Sudoeste de Houston para la Salud. Agradecemos el apoyo de la Episcopal Health Foundation.

Reunimos decenas de madres para hablar sobre la prevención de la diabetes, la salud maternal y además nos divertimos haciendo Zumba!
