of Greater Houston gives girls the right tools and support to succeed, including trained professionals who mentor and guide them in a safe, girls-only environment, peers who share their same drive and aspirations, and research-based programming. Girls learn to set and achieve goals, boldly confront challenges, resist peer pressure, see college as attainable, and explore nontraditional fields such as STEAM.

They're baaaaaack! 💖🙌🏾

We're so excited to welcome our Teen Action Council (TAC) and Project Accelerate (PA) girls back for another year of learning, leading, growing, and making their voices heard!

TAC kicked things off with their first meeting last Saturday and they got RIGHT to business. 👏🏾 The girls learned about their new council structure, voted on their new TAC logo 👀, held their first-ever officer elections, and even practiced running a meeting under the new structure.

This is what leadership looks like: having a voice, using it, and learning how to create change together. 💪🏾✨

We can't wait to see what TAC and PA have in store this year. Something tells us these girls are just getting started. 😏

The traded meetings and emails for a ridiculously fabulous HIGH TEA—complete with games, fellowship, shenanigans, questionable behavior, and a whole lot of laughter.

Because yes, the work we do is important. Yes, we take our mission seriously. But ourselves? Not so much. 🤣

We work hard. We play harder. And apparently...we also drink tea with our pinkies up. ☕️💅🏾

✨ From career conversations to creative competition…what a day! 👟🛍️

Our girls had an unforgettable experience at JD Sports in The Galleria! They were welcomed by an incredible team of store associates, board members, and management who took the time to share their career journeys, offer advice, and encourage our girls to dream big.

Then it was time to get creative! After lunch, the girls put their teamwork and style skills to the test with a Back-to-School Mannequin Challenge—and they absolutely crushed it. 🙌

What do you get when you combine brilliant girls, STEM, and a real-world challenge?

Innovation. 💡✨

Our girls spent the day with HP and Deloitte building rovers and tackling a global clean water challenge through engineering, collaboration, and creative thinking.

Watching them test ideas, solve problems, and cheer each other on was a reminder that the next generation of innovators is already here.

⚖️🙌🏽 Court is officially in session!

Yesterday, our 9th and 10th grade Be BOLD Institute campers had an unforgettable day at the Fort Bend County Courthouse, where they stepped into the shoes of the people who keep our justice system running.

From meeting judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, bailiffs, and other legal professionals to participating in an interactive mock trial, our girls experienced every side of the courtroom. They presented the case, defended the accused, questioned the facts, pleaded before the jury, and even helped determine the verdict!

To top it all off, they got an inside look at areas of the courthouse—including the holding cell—making this an immersive, behind-the-scenes experience they won't soon forget.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Fort Bend County Courthouse for opening your doors, sharing your expertise, and showing our girls that there are countless ways to serve their communities through careers in the justice system.

The verdict? ⚖️ An incredible day of learning, leadership, and inspiration. Good times!💙💗

🍽️💼 Success isn't just about what you know—it's also about how you show up.

Today, our 11th and 12th grade Be BOLD Institute campers visited U.S. Bank, where they explored careers in the banking industry while learning the importance of professional presence and business etiquette during a formal lunch experience at the Hotel ZaZa.

From networking conversations to dining etiquette and career exploration, our girls gained practical skills that will serve them well in college, internships, and future careers.

A special thank you to Alma and the entire team for once again investing your time, wisdom, and encouragement in our girls. Your continued partnership is helping prepare the next generation of confident, capable leaders. 💙💗
