Girls Inc. of Greater Houston Our mission is to inspire ALL girls to be strong, smart, and bold! Girls Inc.

of Greater Houston gives girls the right tools and support to succeed, including trained professionals who mentor and guide them in a safe, girls-only environment, peers who share their same drive and aspirations, and research-based programming. Girls learn to set and achieve goals, boldly confront challenges, resist peer pressure, see college as attainable, and explore nontraditional fields such as STEAM.

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth—the day when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

As we reflect on this important day in history, we also celebrate the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans who continue to shape our communities and our future.

At Girls Inc. of Greater Houston, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity to dream big, lead boldly, and reach her full potential.

✈️☁️ Taking learning to new heights! ☁️✈️

Our Camp SMART campers spent the day at the Lonestar Flight Museum where they explored aviation, learned how flight works, and built their own gliders!

There were plenty of "wow" moments, lots of hands-on learning, and even a few future aviators in the making. 🚀
