HBS Executive Education Alumni COVID - 19 Fund

The Harvard Business School (HBS) Executive Education Alumni established a COVID-19 Fund, with the goal of responding to urgent needs related to the pandemic, specifically in Ecuador and Bolivia.

The funds impacted many lives in Bolivia and Ecuador. In Bolivia, the funds supported the work of healthcare professionals with “Hero Solidarity Kits” which included essential Personal Protective Equipment. They were distributed by alum Rodrigo Campuzano. In Ecuador, the funds provided test kits that were distributed by the Red Cross in coordination with alum Tomislav Topic.

These efforts saved many lives in places where support was needed the most!

The government said 6,700 people died in Guayas province in the first two weeks of April, far more than the usual 1,000 deaths there in the same period.

Bolivia requires biosafety equipment facing the COVID-19.

Bolivia is in last place in the number of patients recovered from this disease with a rate of 5.5 percent over the total number of infected, which also includes deaths.
