KACCUSA Selects Christy Lynn Lee and Dan Moon for 2026 Next Generation Leaders Korea Delegation
HOUSTON, TX — The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Houston (KACC Houston) is proud to announce that Christy Lynn Lee, Founder and Creative Director of Christy Lynn, and Dan Moon, AI strategist and human-centered technology professional, have been selected to represent Houston as delegates to the 2026 KACCUSA Next Generation Leaders Korea Visit Program, taking place September 30–October 2 in South Korea.
KACC Houston was invited to nominate emerging leaders from the Houston community. Following nominations from chapters across North America, KACC USA narrowed the field to 24 next-generation leaders, with Lee and Moon selected among those representing Houston.
“Houston is fortunate to have an extraordinary depth of talent within our Korean-American business community,” said Vivienne Kwon, President of KACC Houston. “Christy and Dan represent two very different but highly complementary areas of leadership—global fashion and creative enterprise, and artificial intelligence and emerging technology. Their selection reflects the caliber of next-generation leaders we have here in Houston and their potential to contribute to the future of Korea–U.S. relations.”
Christy Lynn Lee
Christy Lynn Lee is the Founder and Creative Director of Christy Lynn, a Houston-based luxury ready-to-wear fashion brand recognized for its distinctive blend of modern American design and Korean cultural influence. A graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Lee spent more than a decade in New York City developing her craft with renowned fashion houses before launching her namesake label in Texas in 2019.
Under her creative direction, Christy Lynn has grown from a startup into a nationally recognized brand carried by more than 100 premier boutiques and specialty retailers. Her work has been featured in respected fashion and lifestyle publications including Garden & Gun, PaperCity Magazine, and Modern Luxury. Her collections frequently incorporate Korean-inspired textiles, embroidery, botanical motifs, and traditional artistic techniques, bringing elements of her heritage into contemporary luxury fashion for a global audience.

Dan Moon
Dan Moon is a Korean-American technology professional specializing in artificial intelligence, human factors, UX research, and digital innovation. A Cornell University graduate, Moon has worked with organizations including Microsoft and JPMorgan Chase and brings expertise in connecting emerging technology with business strategy.
“As a delegate representing the Houston Chapter of KACCUSA, I am honored beyond words to participate in the 2026 Next Generation Leaders Korea Visit Program. I see this as a chance to strengthen the bonds between two communities that I hold dear: Houston and Korea. This experience will also shape me as a leader. I want to grow into someone who can navigate both American and Korean business cultures with confidence. Someone who can build trust across languages and borders. Someone who can help our community thrive in an increasingly connected world.”
Strengthening the Korea–Houston Connection
Lee and Moon represent two important dimensions of Houston’s Korean-American leadership—creative enterprise and emerging technology. Their participation reflects the diverse opportunities for collaboration between Houston and Korea, from AI and innovation to entrepreneurship and the creative economy.
Following the visit, both delegates plan to bring their experiences and insights back to Houston. Moon will also develop a multimedia storytelling project to share key observations from the delegation with KACC Houston members and the broader community.
The 2026 KACCUSA Next Generation Leaders Korea Visit Program will take place September 30–October 2, 2026, bringing together 24 emerging Korean-American leaders from across North America for meetings and exchanges with Korean government officials, business leaders, institutions, and entrepreneurs.
