Kicked off the first of May by attending the Asian Chamber of Commerce Houston (ACC) AANHPI luncheon.

Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, celebrated each May, honors the rich history, cultural contributions, and economic impact of AANHPI communities across the United States. From entrepreneurship and innovation to leadership in every industry, AANHPI individuals continue to shape and strengthen our local and national economy.

As a Chamber, we recognize this month as an opportunity to elevate AANHPI voices, support AANHPI-owned businesses, and foster meaningful connections that drive growth and collaboration.

Join us in celebrating AANHPI Month—support local AANHPI businesses, attend our upcoming events, and be part of a stronger, more inclusive business community.

May 1, 2026 - It was an inspiring and meaningful evening in support of Abandoned Little Angels-Safari by Night. While this was not a KACC Houston-hosted event, we were proud to be part of it—our Vice President, Brian Kim, sponsored the gala, and our members attended in support of its mission. Abandoned Little Angels is a remarkable nonprofit dedicated to serving underserved children in Houston and around the world through food, education, medical care, and essential resources.

This year marked the organization’s 24th gala, a reflection of its longstanding commitment and growing impact in the community.

The gala was a true testament to the strength of community—filled with purpose, generosity, and an incredible turnout. The room was full, with so many supporters coming through to champion this important mission.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Executive Director-Frances Chen, the Co-Chairs-Huy Fang and An Dang, President-Cathy Ha Nguyen, and Chairman-Sonny Ngo,for organizing such an exceptional event. Your leadership, dedication, and commitment to making a difference were evident throughout the evening.

Giving back is essential to building a stronger, more connected community. When we support organizations like Abandoned Little Angels, we invest not only in those in need, but in the future we all share—one rooted in compassion, opportunity, and collective responsibility.
