Today, our missions staff and global care team prepared special bags filled with candy, snacks, resources, and more for the global workers attending the Global Healthcare Strategy Network Meeting next week, right before MedAdvance. This is just a small way to show our care and appreciation for their incredible work in sharing the love of Jesus with the nations. The local church plays a vital role in supporting global workers, and we’re blessed to serve those who serve others.

If so, there are things you need to know to get you and your family ready. The Upstream Collective can help!

Marketplace Work is one of the most underdeveloped areas of missions in the world. The Upstream Collective is committed to equipping those currently working or desiring to live, work or study overseas. They want to empower anyone utilizing an alternative pathway to live out the gospel intentionally.

If you work in professions such as engineering, medicine, education, finance, or business startups, and you and your family desire to integrate your faith amid another culture, we invite you to attend and learn how to live out The Great Commission while living and working abroad.

The Marketplace Training takes place on four Wednesdays (September 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 12 - 2:30 p.m. EDT.) Sessions are presented live via Zoom Web Conferencing where you can engage with experienced presenters and other participants. Optional coaching calls will also be available.

This month, our focus has been on caring for Third Culture Kids (TCKs), understanding their unique journey, and providing them with the support they need to thrive.
