Students With Amazing Potential - S.W.A.P.

Students With Amazing Potential - S.W.A.P. Supports SBSID's T-2-4 goal by identifying career opportunities available to students who successfully complete a technical, military, 2 or 4 year degree.

SWAP's objective is to improve the personal vision, academic achievement, self-esteem,

moral character, and leadership ability of middle school students by “exposing” them

to their vast career options and a committed group of positive role models.

Below is a letter from the Spring Oaks Middle School Principal. Thanks to everyone who contributed to SWAP! You're the BEST!

We have had a great year and really appreciate Chapelwood and the SWAP program. Our hope is that we continue the program and work to get more kids involved every year.

The program has such a positive effect on our kids and makes a big difference in their lives.

Please keep Spring Oaks Middle School in mind at the beginning of the year for back packs and supplies. This year we ensured every single kid got a back pack with school supplies and had additional for when new student enrolled.

Again we want to thank the entire Chapelwood community for its commitment to our kids and for all the support they give us through the beginning of the year breakfast and teacher appreciation lunch.

Spring Oaks Middle School and our kids are so blessed to be part of the Chapelwood family.

Thank you
Paul Suess

WOW! What a day. On Saturday, April 9th, SWAP went on a career tour at Minute Maid Park. We had special privileges the public is not usually privy to. Sorry, couldn't take pics of some areas due to security reasons. Lots of employees were getting ready for the first home game of the season tomorrow, so we experienced the hustle and bustle that goes on before game day. So cool!
