​Next month, a remarkable single mother will graduate from Lone Star college, proving that with enough determination, no goal is out of reach. We are so proud to have played a small part in her journey.

When I say I'm blessed to be around amazing people to support my mission and my vision it's an understatement!! Today over a dozen girls said "Yes to the Dress" and Raices Unidas could not have been able to accomplish this without the support of our community. The community that raised me is the same community who has poured into our mission making it successful to reach so many families.. this is my passion.. this truly fills my cup!! ​ How it started vs. How it’s going... ✨

​5 years ago, I had my first interview with Voyage Magazine.. Back then, I was just beginning to share my heart for the community and my dreams for Raices Unidas .

Raices Unidas is hosting our 6th Annual Project Prom, and we’re collecting gently used prom dresses and brand-new shoes, accessories, and gentleman attire for local students.

Students will be able to shop for FREE — no questions asked. 💚

This year we’re also proud to:

🎉 Sponsor the entire prom for AAMA Sanchez Charter School South and George I. Sanchez North Campuses

🎓 Award 5 scholarships to local students

📅 Donations accepted through mid-April
