A huge thank you to all our parents for supporting our Gator Fall-A-Palooza., the first one since 2021! Through your generous donations and the generosity of sponsorships, every student of BMI was able to attend Gator Fall-A-Palooza.

Special thanks to our amazing community partners: Can Do Events & Amusements, Fitz on Wheelz, Dream Big Face Painting, DJ Moto Entertainment, Lemonade Day Houston, Prairie View A&M College of Nursing, Houston Police Department K-9 Unit, Davina Photography, Houston Texans YMCA, Houston Public Library, and the Houston Public Library – African American History Research Center.

And of course, our day wouldn’t have been complete without our fantastic food truck vendors: Yes! Tasty’z Messy Soul Kakes, B-Rich BBQ, Kreole Soul Cuisine, Icey Express SnoCones, Sweeter than Sour Drinks, and Reesh's Sweet Southern Tea.

Do you love books and have a little time to spare? Our school library is seeking a volunteer librarian to help maintain a smooth operation and inspire a love of reading in our students.

We’re looking for someone to assist with:
✅ Checking books in/out
✅ Shelving and organizing
✅ Helping students find great reads
✅ Keeping our library a welcoming space!
