What is the advanced therapy called ECMO? We’re defining it here with our team’s experts who have made the recovery of cardiac arrest survivors their careers' focus. 👩‍⚕️

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (or ECMO): a type of life support when the heart 🫀 and lungs 🫁 are not working well enough to provide oxygen for the body on their own.

The Life After Cardiac Arrest podcast is hosted by survivor Paul Swindell and is conversations with people whose lives have been affected by a cardiac arrest, whether that be as a patient, partner, lifesaver or health professional.
