Good morning and Happy Humpday Houston! We are still going strong at the Exchange Club and we hope everyone in our community is as well! What a Homecoming! It was amazing to see our community come together to celebrate! 🇺🇸 Thank you to all of the sponsors , volunteers, vendors, decorators, and musicians for making this our biggest celebration yet! Happy Friday from the Exchange Club!! We are so excited to share the things that have been going on at the exchange club the last couple of months. We have had so many engaging and beneficial programs come to our club recently. We are so thankful and appreciative of all of the people who have come to speak for us and educate us in their areas of expertise. Happy Friday Houston!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful week and that everyone is getting into the Christmas Spirit! We have a very special program to share with you from last Fridays meeting.

Last week we had the honor of hosting Mississippi State University’s Premiere A Capella group, the TrebullDawgs. They filled our meeting with beautiful singing and pure joy. It is amazing what we can do with our voices when we harmonize and work together!

Good morning and Happy Friday everyone! We hope everyone in our special community had a great Thanksgiving Day and enjoyed time with family last week. We want to spotlight a couple of guests we had before our Thanksgiving break!

Mrs. Angie Irvin with Ladybug Fabrics came and taught us all about Quilting. She taught us some history of quilting, the process of how it works, the different types of designs and techniques, and how her classes work. It was a joy to have her with us. Check out some of her and her class’ work below!

We also had our Houston High School student of the month, Jalen Washington. He has not only had a great football career at Houston High School, but his academics are second to none. He helped lead Houston deep into the playoffs this year while also keeping up his grades in the classroom! Congratulate him on his career at Houston!

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone! We are excited and honored to share this post with you all about our Annual Prayer Breakfast this past Thursday morning. It was a great time to fellowship with the members of our community and to hear a great speaker. At this years breakfast we had Air Force Colonel Tommy Tillman speak to us on his beliefs of how the community you live in should love each other and help one another. It was a truly moving speech. We would like to thank Colonel Tillman again for being there! We also Gave out our annual Golden Deeds Award. This award is given to someone in our community each year who exemplifies what it means to be a part of their community. Miriam Garner is exactly that. She does so much for our community that most don’t and won’t ever see, but that’s not why she does it. She truly cares about our town. Thank you Mrs. Garner for all that you do and congratulations!! We would love to make this event even bigger in the future, so if you would like to be a part of something like this please reach out to us.
