Walden Community Garden at UBC The Walden Community Garden at University Baptist Church is designed to help feed the needy in our community.

The Walden Community Garden at UBC grows a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and all harvested produce is donated to a local food pantry to help feed the needy in our community. All produce grown in the garden will be donated to a local food pantry. The Walden Community Garden has been planned and cared for by volunteers of all ages, from preschool and youth to retirees. The community garden h

as 19 garden beds growing a variety of fruit and vegetables as well as 9 orange trees. We are always looking for volunteers to help in the garden, so please feel free to post on our site or send us an e-mail if you would like more information on volunteering, or would like to make a donation. We are currently in need of tools, wheel barrows, a small storage shed, and money for ongoing plantings. Memorial gifting opportunities are also available for park benches, tree plantings, a garden entrance structure and possibly a fence.
