Harris County / Commissioner Ellis….
East Orem Street / Cullen to 288 Frwy need to be included in your agency’s budget.
H-GAC, Harris County and the City of Houston all agree that building East Orem between Cullen Blvd and 288 S. Frwy will make traffic congestion less and improve mobility safety in the area. Completing this section will remove a lot of traffic from Scott St., Airport St., Almeda Genoa Rd. and 288 S. Frwy along with mitigating the flooding in surrounding neighborhoods. Stop playing the I don’t have any money and it’s not my responsibility to build it , the road is for the public and it’s taxpayers money not yours . This was requested to Commissioner Ellis the 1st month he got into office years ago plus it’s a very intricate piece to the newly built Hills at Sims Park and Trails that just opened.
