Jackie Edwards Memorial Scholarship Fund On July 25, 2022, Jackie Edwards won her battle with cancer.

In her honor, this foundation will be raising money to sponsor a high school graduate with college expenses.

Hello! I am now wrapping up my 1st year in college as a junior Business Marketing Major. Throughout this year I have made the Dean’s List, joined various clubs and organizations, and have been nominated for an honors program at school!

We definitely have the best cousin who we call auntie, she deserves that respect!!!Jackie loved her so much and you couldn’t tell her nothing about her auntie, in her eyes she was perfect. She was the reason my sister was the woman she was, she always say Jackie was my first baby.

Update from our first recipient!! I’m so very proud of her!! She also still serves in church when asked and it brings me joy to walk in church to see her beautiful smile.

I am now a sophomore in college getting ready to start the process of applying to nursing school. Made the honor roll my freshman year and just recently got nominated to apply for a Honor’s program here at school.

On behalf of the Jackie Edwards Memorial Scholarship Fund, I would like to thank you for your prayers, donations and sharing the scholarship fund. On Sunday June 23, 2024 at our church service beginning at 8am, I will be presenting our second recipient with 1k from the scholarship fund. Our recipient is an active member in our youth department, graduated from Bridgeland High School on 5/31/2024 with certifications in entrepreneurship & social media marketing. She has been accepted to Prairie View A&M University and will be studying marketing. I would like to invite you to attend in person or watch online.
