I'm not a snitch but I'm telling, because I'm sick of companies taking advantage of people.

In July, the Harris County Attorney's Office received a concerning surge in price gouging incidents, with 250+ cases reported in response to Hurricane Beryl. Our office continues to fight to ensure the safety of vulnerable communities.

It is illegal for a company to sell or lease fuel, food, medicine, lodging, building materials, construction tools, or other necessities at an exorbitant or excessive price during a state of emergency.
