BEFORE YOU JUDGE AN AUTISTIC CHILD’S BEHAVIOR, REMEMBER: YOU’RE ONLY SEEING ONE MOMENT. THEIR MAMA KNOWS THE WHOLE STORY. ❤️

You see a child crying in the store. She knows how hard they tried to cope with the noise.

You see a child who won’t answer. She knows how much they want to communicate.

You see “too old to act like that.” She sees a child overwhelmed and needing help.

As an autism mum, I wish people understood how much one moment can hide the effort, the progress, the struggles, and the victories we quietly celebrate.

Please, offer kindness before an opinion. That child deserves understanding, and their mama could use a little grace. ❤️

NOBODY CLAPS FOR THE AUTISM PARENT WHO HOLDS SO MUCH TOGETHER QUIETLY. ❤️👏🏽

The one who packs the familiar lunch, prepares for another appointment, and keeps going after a night of barely any sleep.

The one who learns their child’s language beyond words, comforts them through overwhelming moments, and celebrates progress others might not even notice.

The one who cries in private, wipes their face, and shows up again with love even when they need someone to show up for them, too.

So this is your applause. 👏🏽❤️

I see your love. I see your effort. I see how hard you’re trying.

And on the days you can’t hold it all together, you are still an incredible parent. You deserve rest, support, and someone who asks, “How are YOU doing?” and stays to hear the answer.

From one autism parent to another: you deserve to be cared for, too. 🫂❤️

🚨 TEXAS AUTISM FAMILIES, WE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION! 💔

Texas HHSC has proposed eliminating funding for the Children’s Autism Program, which helps families access affordable ABA therapy.

‼️ This is a PROPOSAL not an approved shutdown. If lawmakers approve it, services would continue through August 2027. It does not mean all autism services in Texas are ending.

As an autism mum living in Texas, this hurts. Families already fight so hard for support. Imagine finally getting help or waiting years for it only to face losing that opportunity. 😢

Our children deserve support. Please contact your Texas state representatives and senators and ask them to protect this program. ❤️
