What an accomplishment. 🥰I knew my blogs and podcasts were popular, but I had no clue I was sparking discussions at football games, dinners, parties, and nurses’ stations.✍🏽
My gifts are doing exactly what they were intended to do: make people think, make people talk, and create uncomfortable conversations—and even a few messy ones.
It really touches me to know that my nursing colleagues, from hospitals in Alabama to Texas, are talking about my content during shift-change report and using it to help make it through the shift, to make life changing decisions, or to calculate their next move. Even charge nurses and nurse managers find my blogs and podcasts informative, profound, thought provoking and mention my content At Nurse’s stations…🙏🏽
People ask my children at work all the time, “Is that your mama?” “Are you Hija’s daughter?
That’s pretty humbling.
Thank you so much. Black nurses rock. 🤏🏾 It genuinely touches my heart to know that my writing is appreciated, shared, discussed, debated, laughed about, and sometimes even argued over. Especially when much of my content is triggered by personal experiences.
That means more to me than y’all know. You never know who’s watching 🙏🏽.
