Egg-cellent Week! 🐰 Our members had a wonderful time throughout the week experiencing different fun activities like Easter Party🎉, Raffle🎟️ and Hot Bunny🐇, Easter Egg Hunt🧺, and ice cream 🍨 with a movie🎬

During our last week of program we had a field day and a picnic. Unfortunately we couldn’t have it outside because it was either raining or very hot but we made it work. Everyone had such a great time! This summer was a blast! 💫

Our members had so much fun learning and discovering more about our world and space! 💫 Every member was able to be creative in their own way! ⭐️

Our first 2 weeks in space city have been a blast! 🚀 We had our members do different activities that are based on our summer programs:
-Summer Brain Gain
-Inside out
-Triple Play
-NASA Astro Camp
Some of our activities consist of cooking.
Our first week we made S’mores with the members to celebrate one successful week of fun and learning!
Our second week we made Ice cream with our summer brain gain program. Members were able to measure the Ingredients and see the way ice cream gets created homemade. 😋
We also had a picnic day! Although it was super hot outside we made the most out of it eating inside 😁 and having few activities outside.

We are so excited to start our new GHPAL (GREATER HOUSTON POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE) Soccer program! ⚽️ Where we had officers come and speak about it and explain different ways in which they will learn to play!

A recap of April at the Woodview Club

We wanted to share some of the activities we’ve done so far. These past couple of weeks we’ve been “traveling” to different counties. We want our members to feel like they’ve been there before.

We started off with China, making their passports and creating the flag. Our members also created a hot air balloon where they could write a positive note about themselves or something from China. For our tasting of the week for China since it’s known for its Fried Rice that’s what they were able to taste/eat.

Next we went to Jamaica, the members were trying to write their name with either noodles or string. First they did their name in English at the top and then they use creativity to make little drawings of the many things Jamaica is known for. With the help of Ms.Kim our club director the members were able to try the Curry Chicken which is known to be a Jamaican dish.

Then, this week we went to Germany. We had the members do the Germany flag, their famous flower. Around the flower the members had to write something about themselves and what they have learned so far from Germany. We ended the week with a field day where we also had volunteers come out and help us ☺️

We also did Youth of the Month for April and we want to congratulate them for all their hard work!
