It started with five.

Five kids from the Nehemiah Center getting a week-long summer camp experience at Camp Cho-Yeh.

Then the Franco and Haddad families stepped up at the
CEO Foundation Gala — and five became ten.

A camp drive took care of the rest, helping send each camper off with the gear and essentials they needed for the week ahead.

And then came the good part: climbing, paddleboarding, swimming, new friendships, and the kind of summer memories that get talked about long after camp is over.

It started with five.

Five kids from the Nehemiah Center getting a week-long summer camp experience at Camp Cho-Yeh.

Then the Franco and Haddad families stepped up at the CEO Foundation Gala - and five became ten.

For her birthday this year, Cece Sanders asked for something a little different: books 📚

In lieu of gifts, Cece collected more than 100 books in memory of Colette, who was her friend, classmate, and fellow Girl Scout.

“Colette was a really funny girl, had a great imagination, and was very kind.” Cece shared 🩵

CEO Foundation had the privilege of connecting Cece’s generous gift with our nonprofit partner, Nehemiah Center, where the books will find new readers and new imaginations.

Inside each one is a message honoring Colette and the memory of her siblings—a small reminder of the lives and love behind every book.

“It means our kids get to enjoy places like this—like other kids do.”

Sometimes it’s creating space for families to feel seen, understood, and together.

CEO Foundation was honored to support Steel Magnolia Moms during a private day at the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, giving children with special needs the opportunity to explore, play, and simply be kids—while their moms connected with other moms who fully understand their special journey.

“Do I feed my family? Do I keep the lights on? Do I keep a roof over our heads?”

These are the decisions many working families in our community face every day.

For 35 years, East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry has helped families bridge the gap when rising costs make it difficult to keep up with everyday necessities.

CEO Foundation’s support funds fresh produce for approximately 540 Kid Sacks per month. That’s nearly 6,500 Kid Sacks a year!

We’re proud to support organizations like EFBHNM that are helping families right here in our community move forward with dignity and support.
