Standing in the middle of JOY was definitely intentional. Not staged, not accidental, but the visual I needed in real time.
Lately, I’ve been reminded that my strength truly comes from joy. The kind that God gives, not the kind that depends on what’s happening around me or how the day unfolds. The kind of joy that holds you steady, even when life feels full.
There’s something about slowing down, breathing in fresh air, and letting nature remind you that God is still creating, still restoring, still keeping His promises. Even in my 30’s, I genuinely enjoy going to the Houston Zoo, watching life unfold, being reminded of childlike wonder, and finding peace in the simple gift of being present without rushing the moment.
Today, I’m thankful for life itself, for God’s promises that never return void, and for moments like these that pull me back to gratitude and perspective.
Choosing joy, honoring softness, and blooming right where God has planted me never felt better. I’m committed to the posture of living present, grounded, and grateful.
If you needed the reminder today: joy is still available to you right where you are. Keep showing up. Keep blooming.
