✨ Joyful Reunion in Malawi ✨
We are thrilled to welcome missionary Sandra Harris back to Malawi! Through Sandra, we shared gifts with Hope For Widows in Malawi's (H4W) Committee as a small token of gratitude for their faithful service. May the scented lotions and body sprays remind them of the sweet aroma of their ministry before the Lord.

We are also grateful to Lakewood Church's Relief and Outreach for providing clothing for the children, and tutors in H4W’s Child Education Sponsorship Program (CESP).

In addition, we celebrated several special milestones, including the ordination of CESP Tutor and resident pastor, Pastor Owen Manjawira and the academic achievements of our students, who received gifts in recognition of their hard work.

Christ calls us to, “Love your neighbor…” — not just the one living beside you, but everyone your life touches.

We’re always excited to exhibit the products from the widows at Hope for Widows and to invite others to join us in walking beside them on their journey to financial independence.

The widows’ products received so much love and appreciation from the women at the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce - International Conference for Women. Their talent, creativity and resilience touched hearts. 🤠

Carrying Hope. Wearing Strength. 🙏💪

A slight delay in receiving additional products in time for our annual fundraiser may have slowed things down, but it certainly didn’t stop these lovely people from using their purchasing power to make a difference.

Hope For Widows in Malawi's (H4W) beautifully handcrafted bags and jewelry are more than stylish additions to any wardrobe — they are pieces filled with purpose and power. With each purchase, buyers carry a widow’s hope, wear her strength, and become a meaningful way to walk alongside her on her journey.

We are especially grateful to Mary Lou and the Widow 2 Widow Canadian team, dear friends and valued partners of H4W, for kindly bringing the additional products from Malawi. Happy Mother’s Day to the women who mother in real life — imperfectly, beautifully, and humanly. 🌷

To the mothers who lost their patience and apologized later.
Who carried too much sometimes.
Who got things wrong and kept loving anyway.
Who were learning while raising someone else.
Who showed strength one day and exhaustion the next.

Motherhood was never meant to require perfection. It asks for presence, resilience, sacrifice, tenderness, and the courage to keep showing up as a whole human being — not a flawless one.

Today isn’t just for idealized versions of mothers. It’s for real women with histories, limitations, personalities, contradictions, humor, wounds, and hearts big enough to keep trying.

Thank you for the love that was honest, not polished.
For the care that was real, not performative.
For being human first — and mothers within that humanity.🩷

We believe in the power of unity and the value of every person’s God-given contribution. Together, collectively, we can create something far greater than any one of us could accomplish alone.
