Take a deep breath and let it out. We’ve reached Day 42 of our Silencing the Storms series, and today is all about finding rest and reflecting on the journey we’ve taken this week.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the noise, but today we’re pausing to give thanks and let these truths sink deep into our hearts:

✨ When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. (Psalm 94:19)
✨ Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this. (Psalm 37:5)
✨ An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. (Proverbs 12:25)
✨ Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. (Matthew 6:34)
✨ I lift up my eyes to the mountains: where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. (Psalm 121:1-2)
✨ I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

How are you spending your Sunday? Whether you’re enjoying a quiet cup of coffee or spending time with family, I hope you feel God’s peace surrounding you. You don’t have to carry it all: He’s got you.

Let’s take this moment to just be. What’s one thing you’re thankful for today?

Midday Check-in: Where are your eyes fixed today? 🏔️

Psalm 121:1-2 reassures us that God is our ultimate source of help. When we recognize that our help comes from the Lord, we can shift our focus from our worries to His infinite power and protection.

Take a moment right now to breathe and trust in His ability to support you through anything. You aren't walking alone! 💪🙌

Good morning! ☀️ Starting Day 40 with a powerful reminder of where our strength truly lies.

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains: where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." : Psalm 121:1-2

Whenever you feel small against the mountains in your life, remember who made those mountains. Your help is coming from the Creator of it all! 🙏✨

How often do we lose the peace of tonight because we're already worrying about tomorrow?

It’s so easy to let our minds race ahead, but Matthew 6:34 gives us a beautiful reminder: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

When we try to solve tomorrow's problems today, we just end up twice as tired. This evening, let's practice taking ourselves out of the equation and putting our trust back where it belongs. By focusing on today and leaving the future in God's hands, we can finally breathe and find true rest.

Matthew 6:34 encourages us to concentrate on the present moment. Each day brings its own set of challenges, and it's unnecessary to add the burden of tomorrow’s concerns to today’s troubles. Embracing this perspective allows us to live more fully, trusting that God is in control of what lies ahead.

God, help me to live in the present and not be consumed by worries about the future. Teach me to trust You with tomorrow and find peace in today. Amen.

Take a deep breath and rest easy tonight knowing He’s already in your tomorrow.

Feeling overwhelmed by everything coming at you all at once? It’s so easy to let tomorrow’s "what-ifs" steal today’s peace.

Today’s Midday reflection is all about leaning into Matthew 6:34: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

When we try to carry tomorrow’s burdens today, we end up feeling weighed down and exhausted. God isn’t asking you to figure out next month or even next week right now. He’s just asking you to take one step at a time, trusting that He’s already in all your tomorrows.

Reflection:
By focusing on today and leaving the future in God’s hands, we can actually breathe. It’s about cultivating that inner peace and knowing that He is in control. Handle today as it comes, and rely on Him for the rest.

Prayer:
God, help me to live in the present and not be consumed by worries about the future. Teach me to trust You with tomorrow and find peace in today. Amen.

Let’s try to stay present today. What’s one small thing you’re grateful for right now?
