Latina Night with Mariachi Mariposas
Friday, August 18 - 7 pm
Featuring Mariachi Mariposas, the award-winning all-female mariachi group based out of Ria Grande Valley, Texas, plus the UH Mariachi Pumas and Winners of the 2023 Mariachi Festival National Mariachi Youth Vocalist Competition, including soloist Eduardo Antonio Trevino, featured on America's Got Talent.

Mariachi 7 Leguas
Saturday, August 19 - 7 pm
Featuring the internationally-renowned Mariachi 7 Leguas, plus the University of Texas Rio Grande Ballet Folklorico and the Winner of the 2022 Mariachi Extravaganza in San Antonio. Attendees are asked to dress to impress in formal attire.

Mariachi Imperial de America: 35th Anniversary
Sunday, August 20 - 7 pm
Mariachi Imperial de America celebrate 35 years plus an all-star lineup of some of the best youth mariachis, including soloist Eduardo Antonio Trevino, featured on America's Got Talent. Audience members are encouraged to sport traditional Mexican dresses and guayaberas. Special Debut Performance by Mexico en Danzas Grupo Folklorico, lead by Maestro Isaac Ledesma.

We are honored to announce that we will be hosting a Welcome Reception for Ballet Folklorico Los Angelitos!💃🏻🥂
A world-class dance company from an orphanage known as Casa Hogar Los Angelitos in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico founded by Nancy Nystrom.
What better way to welcome them to Houston TX them at the itself!

Did you know Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi are intertwined? 🎻💃🎺
Folklorico dancers perform to traditional Mexican music that is performed by Mariachis. Our university is lucky enough to not only have a folklorico group, but also a Mariachi!

The University of Houston’s Mariachi Pumas just held their end of semester fall concert, and of course our dancers had to go and support! We’re also working on possible collaboration for the future 👀 so stay tuned!
