A lot of problems going on in this world today and be looking at in two ways: problems or opportunities.

Choosing a troubleshooting or adventure mentality will always be better than a victim or mentality.

He Gets It — Corgi vs. the Tiny Fishing Pole

It’s a little fishing pole with a rubber fish on the end. Puppy stares, commits, sits, then goes after it. “He gets it.”
That’s the brief. Pets still need time that isn’t the news.

UK Police Arrest 5 Near RAF Fairford After 3 Vehicles Flagged

One-minute factual note. Early reports only.
What is being reported: after midnight Sunday, a farmer flagged three suspicious vehicles near RAF Fairford — a U.S. bomber base in the UK that has been used in the Iran campaign. Police arrested five people. Charges cited in reporting include explosives offenses and “preparation of a terrorist act.” About 85 households were evacuated. A bomb squad examined vehicles near Whelford. Counter-terror police are leading the inquiry.
What is not confirmed: an Iranian-linked motive is being treated as a line of inquiry, not a finding. Do not fill that gap with guesses.
President Trump publicly praised the arrests. That is a comment, not extra evidence.
Takeaway for viewers: pay attention to official updates, not the first rumor. If you travel or live near a base or airport, treat unusual vehicle staging the way locals did here — report it and leave the area when asked. This is not a how-to and not a claim that “the next one is coming.”

Don’t Waste Your O2 Absorbers — Mason Jar + Rice Hack

Opened a pack of oxygen absorbers for Wallaby Mylar bags and had extras left? Don’t let them die on the counter.
Simple method I use:
1. Fill a mason jar about two-thirds with dry rice
2. Drop in the unused O2 absorbers
3. Lid on
4. Pull a vacuum with a FoodSaver-style sealer
Rice plus vacuum keeps leftover absorbers usable for the next batch instead of throwing half a pack away. That’s defensive preparedness on a budget: use what you bought.

What the heck is going on with prices?

This bag in the store was six dollars for three cookies a total of 2.2 ounces of product. That’s roughly only a couple of tablespoons of product for six dollars. You’d be better off putting honey on a slice of bread as a snack.

Cat Vs Corgi. These two have actually become besties and are constantly playing and chasing each other around the house. No corgis or cats were harmed in the making of this film. Although at least one small lamp has suffered a tragic incident as a result of the Chase.

This weekend is both the 25th anniversary of 911 and the attacks on New York and the Pentagon, it is also the beginning of Rosh Hashanah.

There’s a lot of negative energy and a lot of people angry at each other. Regardless of where you fall in the political spectrum this might be a very symbolic time for negative things to happen.

Keep situational awareness, I have some cash and you keep your phones charged. Pay attention to your surroundings and try to enjoy the weekend.

Godspeed
