The Lion’s Den is back!

Join us April 11-12,2025, as we partake in the University of Houston’s oldest tradition, Frontier Fiesta!

Frontier Fiesta celebrates everything that makes the University of Houston important to the Houston community today. The talent and leadership ability of its students, the opportunity to educate Houston’s future leaders, and providing scholarship opportunities for deserving students are just a few ways that Fiesta gives back.

The Cook-Off is the largest source of community participation at Frontier Fiesta. Over forty teams from alumni associations and outside organizations come to compete in the six categories of pinto beans, beef brisket, chicken, chili, fajitas, and pork ribs.
