Clark Hudlun saw a woman running down the street with no shoes. She pulled over to ask if she was okay, the woman jumped in her car and screamed, “Drive, please, drive!” Mrs. Clark Hudlun headed toward the nearest police stat
ion and, noticing a speeding car in the rearview mirror, she asked: “Is that car after you??” “Yes, and you’ve just saved my life!” exclaimed the woman. As the two came to a stop, they were equally shaken and crying. It was at that moment that Shuntay realized that she had to find a way to help the women in her community who were suffering from a myriad of circumstances. She resolved to find resources and opportunities for women to lift themselves out of dangerous and seemingly hopeless situations to live better lives. (receiving opportunities and resources) was born and Mrs. Clark Hudlun made a commitment to stand with women and young girls who were willing to also take a stand to improve their life. ROAR INC TEXAS will also offer services to troubled children and men being released from foster care, juvenile, alternative school systems, and prison. We will also assist with placement, life coaching skills, hands-on skills, alternative education, housing placement with strick housing programs filled with rules, accountability, responsibility, hands-on job skills, goal-oriented organizational life charts, group therapy teaching program participants how to rebuild the family bridge while reconnecting them with a new family structure. Parenting accountability reconnect programs to restore positive light in their broken children. We will also offer transitional steps, housing, credit repair, debt consolidation, housing after prison release programs for people with backgrounds that may not qualify for traditional shelter based on their records. ROAR HOUSING PROGRAM will offer special programs for those with backgrounds that can qualify for rental and purchase assistance through our program designed for ex-offenders. New Expansion Program

Our new youth program (A WAY OUT) will be for troubled youth heading towards the pipeline of mass incarceration, drugs, and economic disaster. The program will begin summer 2021 to offer intervention and prevention, life coping, coaching, and positive alternatives for children on their way down a negative path. Our goal is to reroute their path to a positive road. Disaster Relief
ROAR is about helping people in need. No matter what they are. If there is ever a need, we will do our best to ensure that ROAR is there. Natural disasters and unforeseen circumstances will continue to increase. We will travel throughout TEXAS and beyond to offer much need urgent help as funds, donations, gifts, and sponsorship are available.
COVID
We have all seen the horrific impact of COVID19. The devastation has spread across the US. With numbers on the rise, businesses closing, families losing their homes, children, and adults dying in by the thousands each day. ROAR has managed to help as many as we can throughout this horrific time. There are no guarantees. However, ROAR will be there to offer services however they can. With social distancing in place, many services are done through cash, purchasing personal items, making payments, paying forward, placing cash in the items secretly at the store, paying for someone's ticket in many ways food, clothing, bills, fuel, medications, rental assistance. Homeless COVID items, masks, sanitizers, feeding them, safety shelter for a clean shower and a night of peace. ROAR is doing all we can to ensure that we can be there in their time of need. However, if things don't get better, ROAR will not be around to continue the fight to offer its services to the growing needs of millions throughout Texas in need of growing assistance. For the next 3 years, it is our prayer that we can continue to help as many as we can.
