Meet Natalie Guzman, Art Director, Community Outreach Coordinator & Spanish-Speaking Liaison for this year’s BIRTH Fair!
Natalie is passionate about preparing women for the threshold of motherhood, helping families reconnect with the land as a source of strength, and building the village of support needed to welcome and nurture new life.
An experienced doula, student midwife, ceremonialist, homeschooling mama, and author, Natalie brings both traditional wisdom and hands-on birth experience to her work. She is deeply committed to creating spaces where families feel informed, connected, celebrated, and supported throughout the childbearing journey.
Natalie is also a published author, contributing a chapter dedicated to birth in the bestselling anthology Bruised to Brilliance, available on Amazon.
Last year, Natalie founded Aliento de Nacimiento – School of Traditional Birth Arts, created to preserve, share, and carry forward traditional approaches to supporting pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the sacred transitions surrounding new life.
As part of BIRTH Fair, Natalie brings her creativity and love of community into the Art Room while helping strengthen outreach to Houston’s diverse communities and serving as a bridge for Spanish-speaking families.
