Networking Within the Body of Christ is a ministry that was founded on the basis to strengthen, build up, and expand the Kingdom of God through professional and social networking. Not only to open doors toward new endeavors for the B.O.C. but to also open doors for others who do not
know of Christ, so that they will be able to build a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. Family, there is great strength and power in numbers especially in regards to the things of the Kingdom. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12(NLT) states ”Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble…Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” By coming together as a whole and embracing, appreciating, and supporting the different gifts and talents the Lord has blessed each one of us with, the sky’s the limit to what we can accomplish. In Romans 12:4-8(NLT) Paul the Apostle wrote, ”just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well…If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.” You may have not been called to be a Bishop, Pastor, Elder, or youth leader of a church, but you are still vitally important to the Body of Christ. Whether you are a doctor, singer, CEO of a major corporation, makeup artist, janitor, bank clerk, author, or even politician, you are still an important factor to the B.O.C. The N.W.B.O.C. is for everyone, but our focus is to bring together young adults, ages 18-35, within the B.O.C. That they may get on one accord to work toward expanding the Body of Christ through which ever industry they are led to work in. Now is such a crucial time for the body of Christ to really come together and STAND OUT! Not only for the Church’s sake, but for the world’s sake! “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.“ Hebrews 10:24-25(NLT) Everyone plays a MAJOR role within the Body of Christ, and it does not matter where you fit in, you are greatly needed!!! Lastly, in 1 Corinthians 12:14-26 (NLT) it gives us a clear illustration on how important each one of us actually are to the Body of Christ. “Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part…and if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts and God has put each part just where he wants it. Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you…” In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care…if one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.” In conclusion Family, we are a ministry that believes in the fact that we should stand together in one accord to do as Christ has directed us. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you…“ Mathew 28:19-20(NLT) The N.W.B.O.C. will let the world know that we, the Body of Christ, are here on earth not only to worship God with our bodies but also in all that we do, so that God’s Word will reach the Nations.
