ADA Participation Action Research Consortium ADA-PARC studies disparities experienced by people with disabilities after the passage of the ADA. ADA-PARC has four purposes:

1.

The ADA Participation Action Research Consortium (ADA-PARC) is a collaborative research project of all 10 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Regional Centers and the ADA Knowledge Translation Center. To look at participation disparities experienced by people with disabilities post ADA & Olmstead
2. To identify & examine key environmental factors contributing to these disparities.
3. To benchmar

k participation disparities and highlight promising practices at state & city levels
4. To action-plan strategies for dissemination and utilization of findings to be used by ADA Centers and others in community capacity building & systems change initiatives

ADA-PARC is a program of ILRU (Independent Living Research Utilization), at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas. ADA PARC is funded by National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) (90DP0026, 90DPAD0001, 90DPAD0013). NIDILRR is a Center within the Administration for Community Living (ACL), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The contents of this page do not necessarily represent the policy of NIDILRR, ACL, HHS, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
