For the past few weeks our 5th graders here participated in our program, Lemonade Day.

They have learned all about starting and operating their own business. They had to come up with a business plan, name their business, create a logo and slogan, make and price a supply list, and then present their plans to the "bank" (Ms. Jenn) for a loan to get started. We are so proud of all of their hard work!!

Tomorrow's the big day, please come out and support our young business owners!

What an amazing night! Two of our very own members, from The Women's Home Boys & Girls Club, were selected to run a Steam Station at The Great Futures Dinner honoring the Houston Texans! We are beyond proud of both of them. They demonstrated how to make pop rockets using everyday household items and did a fantastic job... Way to go Ricardo and Shalaya! We ended our week in Ireland with the Luck of the Irish! 🇮🇪☘️

In the morning we made rainbow chain pots of gold, green glitter slime, bracelets, and Lucky Charm trail mix. 🌈

In the afternoon we had a world flag scavenger hunt, and played Flag Bingo & Flag Match Game.

We hope everyone enjoyed traveling around the world this week with us. ✈️🧳🌍
