20,335 meals! That’s what 90 Bayou City Chapter members helped make possible this morning at the .

Our first Chapter-Wide Philanthropy Event of the 2026-2027 year was a huge success! Together, we sorted 33 pallets of donations, packed 793 boxes totaling 24,402 pounds of food, and helped support families across our community.

Thank you to all the moms and daughters who joined us this morning, brought food donations earning an extra hour, and helped us kick off the new NCL year with a morning of service. We were also excited to launch our new self check-in process and appreciate everyone’s patience as we worked through it together.

What a great reminder of the impact we can make when mothers and daughters serve side by side. 💕

Our class of 2028 and their moms met Houston-based thrifting experts, Jen & Pippa at Value Thrift World in the Heights.  Jen & Pippa talked about the benefits of thrifting, from sustainability to affordability, and gave all the tips and tricks.  The ladies found some deals and learned life skills.
