Our goal is to encourage any and all persons to volunteer in the community. We know that volunteering is good for the mind, heart, and soul. However, when we volunteer 2gether it makes us stronger and better for whom we serve. Our Mission:

Volunteer 2gether was founded in 2015 by Joice
E. Smith who is also the founder of The Divo’s another volunteer group founded in 2013. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University located in Ruston, La in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology minoring in Psychology. Prior, she obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Science from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas in 1992. Before she attended college, she graduated from Bay City High School in Bay City, Texas in 1989. Joice has strengthened her skills and talents by obtaining two certifications from the Management and Strategy Institute for a Certified Team Supervisor and Six Sigma Lean Professional. Joice believes that volunteering 2gether in numbers (people) is greater than the ideologies that separate us. And, are the very ideologies that should bring us together for great causes. By being a part of Volunteer 2gether you and or your group will help create and gain exposure to a larger platform that will enhance your networking and volunteering on another level.
