Some recent changes to new membership requirements for OES.

While this may be viewed as a loosening of some of the requirements, it will allow many good women who have desired entrance into Eastern Star without a direct relationship with a Master Mason in good standing or by service connection through either Job's Daughters and Rainbow. This provision now will allow girlfriends of Master Masons to be able to join as it was not allowed in previous years.

Today, it was the honor of the officers of Texas Lodge #177, to endow Sen. Michael J. Lybyer with his 50 year pin and certificate. The pin was presented by his son Pat Lybyer. Rep. Bennie Cook was on hand to present Bro. Lyber with a MO House Resolution recognizing his long service to his Lodge, the Scottish Rite, and Abou Ben Adhem Shriners. Rex Dix presided over the ceremony assisted by Secretary Dustin Altom and SD Danny Walker.

Texas Lodge #177 AF & AM Grand Lodge of Missouri has changed it's Stated Meeting Day and Time. We will now have our regular meeting on the 1st Saturday of the Month at 9am. Breakfast will preceed the meeting at 830am.

A huge thanks to all those who came out to support our fundraiser for the Houston Senior Center. We donated $1050.00 to help with the building renovations! Thanks to Walmart of Houston, Savor Restaurant, TNT Smokehouse and the Rural Fire Department for their generous donations to the project.
