Our charcuterie-style gathering created space for laughter, vulnerability, and joy. There’s something powerful about women coming together with intention — and this gathering reminded us of just that.

We recently gathered for the HKD Supper Club — an evening where good food, deep convos, and meaningful connections filled the room. Chefs Dom Lee & Harold Villarosa served up flavor and soul, but it was the spirit of community that truly made the night special. We came together as strangers, friends, and colleagues, and left feeling full — in every way.

Honoring the Legacy of Congressman Sylvester Turner

Houston has lost a true champion. A visionary leader, tireless advocate, and devoted public servant, Congressman Sylvester Turner dedicated his life to uplifting the city and the people he so deeply loved. As our Honorary Chairman and the distinguished representative of the 18th Congressional District, Turner’s unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and economic empowerment left an indelible mark on Houston’s business community and beyond.

A native son of Houston, Turner’s journey from Acres Homes to the halls of power was a testament to perseverance and purpose. Throughout his life, Turner fought with intention and heart, ensuring that marginalized communities were seen.

His passing is a profound loss, but his legacy is everlasting. He leaves behind a city forever changed by his vision and an example of leadership that will continue to inspire generations. We extend our deepest condolences to his beloved daughter, Ashley, his family, his friends, and all who were touched by his life’s work.

Rest in power, Congressman Turner. We THANK YOU. Your light will never fade.
