Today, some of the sisters of Jael no.417 had the honor of serving breakfast at Star of Hope. We were so busy serving our community that we didn’t get many photos, and honestly, that’s how we know it was a morning well spent.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share kindness, compassion, and hope, one meal at a time.

Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the legacy of those who paved the way. ✊🏾❤️💚🖤

On Juneteenth, we honor our history, embrace our culture, and stand unapologetically Black. Our excellence is not an exception. Our strength is not a surprise. Our joy is an act of remembrance and a testament to how far we’ve come.

From generation to generation, we continue to rise, lead, serve, and thrive.

It is still Mental Health awareness month.

Mental health is an important part of your overall well-being, influencing how you think, feel, and navigate daily life. It’s okay to have moments where things feel overwhelming or heavy—everyone experiences that at times. What matters is remembering that you don’t have to handle it all on your own. Reaching out to someone you trust, whether it’s a friend, family member, or a professional, can make a real difference.

Today was one of those days that reminds us why service matters. Jael No. 417 spent the day at the Houston Food Bank, showing up for our community in a way that feels bigger than us. From the moment we got there, it was all hands on deck! working, laughing, moving with purpose, and knowing that every small task was part of something meaningful.

In the words of our sister Nicole Allen, “We were able to love on each other while serving the community” which was much needed.
