A little throwback to a day filled with hope, hard work and new possibilities. ❤️

Behind every person at an award ceremony is a journey we may not fully know the late nights, the challenges, the small wins and the decision to keep going.

Today, we're celebrating the people behind the pictures.

To every entrepreneur working to build something meaningful: we see your effort, and we hope you keep growing.

Which moment from this event stands out to you most?

Let's talk.
If you had the opportunity to solve one problem in your community today, what would you choose?
💧 Clean water?
🎓 Education?
💼 Jobs and entrepreneurship?
🍲 Food support?
👩🏽 Women's empowerment?
🧑🏽‍🎓 Opportunities for young people?
Or something completely different?
There is no wrong answer.
Tell us in the comments.
We want to hear from you.
Sometimes, the people who live in a community understand its needs better than anyone else.

700+ women.
1,800 children.
25+ outreach missions.
These numbers tell us that work has been done.
But numbers alone don't tell the whole story.
Behind 700+ women are women with businesses, skills, families and dreams.
Behind 1,800 children are children with names, families and futures.
Behind every outreach is a community.
And behind every community is a story.
At RAHVAI, we don't want impact to become just numbers on a report.
We want people to feel the difference.
That's why we keep showing up.
That's why the work matters.
And that's why we're only getting started.
Whose story would you like to hear from RAHVAI next?

A grant is more than money.
For a small business owner, it can mean the equipment they've been postponing.
It can mean more raw materials.
It can mean better packaging.
It can mean employing someone.
Sometimes, it is simply the encouragement that says:
“Keep going. What you're building matters.”
Through the RAHVAI Entrepreneurship Grant, entrepreneurs were given an opportunity to take another step toward building sustainable businesses.
And that's the part we love most not just the award ceremony, but what happens after the pictures.
The businesses that grow. The ideas that become products. The jobs that are created. The communities that benefit.
We believe in giving people room to grow.
Because sometimes, all a good idea needs is a chance.

Sometimes, a page can be quiet, but the work does not stop.
Behind the scenes, there are still people being reached, lives being supported, communities being strengthened and dreams being given room to grow.
We may have been quiet here for a while, but the reason we exist has remained the same:
to restore hope and transform lives.
RAHVAI is about people.
It's about the child who needs support.

The woman who needs an opportunity.

The young person who needs someone to believe in them. The community that needs a helping hand.
And we're excited to share more of these stories with you again.
Welcome back to RAHVAI. ❤️
We have a lot to share.

MEET ONE OF OUR ENTREPRENEURS
This is Mr Umar Maawiyya Tanko,
The CEO of U M T Recycling business.
Here are some of his struggles before RAHVAI entrepreneurship grant and what has improved since the grant .

Before Rahvai:
1. The recycling materials really need more storage especially PET bottles( which l focus on) plus the funds extraction for delivery which can take some part of the profit. And safety equipment are also limited.
2. To have more storage, buying more weight scale to boost the collection of recycling materials. Safety equipments are also been used now.
3. The buying pressure as before 1st August l can't buy more weights
After Rahvai. as the supports was received more space was acquired with a new scale.
We are grateful to Rahvai for this amazing opportunity.
